And when i entered the game, all of my characters were still there, but we couldn't connect via LAN due to having different versions of the game (his was still at 1.13 prior to updating). It downloaded successfully despite me having no Battle.NET account.

I accidentally clicked Battle.NET instead of multiplayer, and the game downloaded the 1.14d patch right away. So my brother and i were about to finish the game.we were about to defeat Baal. You should really have separate SB for different things you do online.

You should delete the contents of your SB regulary especially if when you update apps that run in that sandbox. So if you patched the game, and then ran that patched game in a SB with older/cached files, that can be a problem. Yes, Anything you run in a sandbox will build up, cache. Reinstall Sandbox and report back? I can do this later since this will be a 10 min process but i dont think it will work. I always update normally and the run one of the copies sandboxed. My assertion is you applied patched 1.14c under the supervision of sandboxie. Sandboxie always worked very well with d2 and all of a sudden it is broken, is this due to the new patch and Blizzard beeing cunts or am I missing something. Yet when i sandbox either they take patch 1.14c. Both run normal and are patched to 1.14d.

Sounded like i basically install and then let it update to the recent patch?. I installed it updated the last patch shit. I had it installed and uninstalled it to get torrent.
